    Summer on Clark Lake has its own rhythm. Loons call across the water in the early hours, eagles circle overhead, and geese glide past without a second glance at anyone on the shore. The water laps softly against the sand. The light shifts, the birds go loud and then quiet, and the whole morning feels like it is moving at exactly the right pace.

    Yoga on the Beach meets you in the middle of it.

    This is a slow, grounded practice held on the shoreline at Nature Link Resort, open to all levels and all bodies. We move with the ease of a summer morning, drawing on breathwork, gentle flow, and meditation to settle the nervous system and come home to yourself. The natural world is not a backdrop here; it is part of the practice. No performance. No pressure. Just an hour of authentic, unhurried yoga with the lake, the light, and the morning.

  • Guided Forest Bathing at Nature Link

    Some mornings, the most restorative thing you can do is slow down enough to let the forest find you.

    Guided forest bathing, rooted in the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, is not a hike. There is no destination, no pace to keep, no miles to log. Through a series of sensory invitations, you'll be drawn out of your thinking mind and into the living present. You don't have to know what to notice or how to be still.

    At Nature Link, the landscape meets you more than halfway. Birch and pine, the smell of water on warm rock, light filtering through a canopy that simply continues, indifferent to our schedules. We move slowly through it all, pausing together to receive what is already happening around and within us.

    Research on Shinrin-yoku is specific and substantial. Guided immersion in forested environments has been shown to lower cortisol, reduce blood pressure, slow heart rate, and strengthen immune function, with effects that persist well beyond the session itself. The forest is not a backdrop. It is an active participant.

    No experience necessary. No special gear, just a blanket or mat to use while we’re sitting on the forest floor.
