Nisswa Yoga is a mobile yoga studio, led by experienced teacher Jennifer Smith. In person classes and workshops are held in beautiful environments, creating immersive mindful experiences. Jennifer also leads a collaborative of talented yoga teachers who teach private classes at resorts, event centers, and homes across the Brainerd Lakes Area of North Central Minnesota.

Summer is slowing down, and there are limited beach classes left, so come and soak up the pristine calm of Clark Lake. There's something about practicing at the water's edge that strips away pretense and connects us directly to our essential nature. The lake doesn't try to be anything other than what it is—and in its presence, neither do we.

Leave feeling refreshed, centered, and deeply connected to both yourself and the world around you. We’ll practice gentle, slow-flow movement and yoga nidra, guiding you into profound relaxation. Then, choose your own adventure with our wellness options. Warm your body in the sauna, invigorate your system with a refreshing cold plunge, take a spontaneous jump into the crystal-clear lake, or enjoy any combination that calls to you.

Nisswa Yoga offers private sessions, group yoga for events and retreats, and speaking engagements tailored to your needs. This includes restorative yoga, corporate wellness, bridal and bachelorette yoga, and more. We are a mobile yoga studio and can go anywhere and everywhere! We'll come to your resort, event center, home, or cabin.
Optional add-ons for custom sessions include yoga mat and block rentals, essential oils, and take-home lavender eye pillows for a special touch.

Experience the deeply healing benefits of Restorative Yoga through a personalized one-on-one or small group session. Jennifer will design a supportive and soothing practice based on your individual needs. Rooted in the evidence-based Relax and Renew® method developed by Judith Hanson Lasater, Jennifer’s approach emphasizes stillness, ease, and nervous system care. With the body fully supported by props, you’ll be invited to slow down, rest deeply, and cultivate resilience, physically, emotionally, and psychologically.

Corporate and retreat wellness sessions
Mindfulness and meditation are proven productivity hacks and a genuine way to enhance your team members’ lives. We’ll work with you to develop a class or workshop to teach your group techniques that build resilience within stressful situations, learning to step back into stillness and calm to proceed with more clarity and focus. There is no limit to the number of people in your group, we work with both small and large companies. The class can be part of a standard workday or part of your corporate retreat; in person or online.
